A Mural "Welcoming" visitors to South Boston

The mural shows the coats of the provinces of Ireland and the words (in Gaelic) Irish Republican Army, Sinn Fein, an Noraid (the Irish Northern Aid Committee.  

Another Mural, this one on the side of Al's Liquors, states "Ireland Unfree Will Never be at Peace"

The Soiling of Old Glory

The Soiling of Old Glory is a Pulitzer Prize winning photograph.  It depicts a white teenager, Joseph Rakes, about to assault black lawyer and civil-right activist Ted Landsmark.  The photograph was taken April 5, 1976 during a protest of desegregation busing in boston.
