Purchasing and Supply Management (LOG 208 (UG20))

This course provides students with an understanding of purchasing and supply management, which is an essential part of most supply chains. The course explores the sourcing and bidding process, the legal and contractual aspects of procurement, and how the purchasing function is an integral part of an organization. During the course, students are introduced to the many potential career opportunities available in purchasing and supply management. Prerequisite: ENG 096 with a grade of "C" or higher; or appropriate placement score, MAT 090 with a grade of "C" or higher; or appropriate placement score. S
