Submit your 2019-2020 FAFSA as soon as possible to apply for Fall 2019. We plan to start sending missing information notifications in March. 2019-2020 awarding is expected to begin in April.
Spring 2019 refund checks are scheduled to be released starting February 27th and weekly after that. Students will receive a Qmail when their refund check is ready for pick up. If you would like your refund check mailed, you can simply reply to that email confirming your student ID number and address and ask to have it mailed.
- Complete the 2018-2019 FAFSA to apply for Fall 2018, Spring 2019, and Summer 2019. The 2018-2019 FAFSA is based on 2016 income information.
- Complete the 2019-2020 FAFSA to apply for Fall 2019, Spring 2020, and Summer 2020. The 2019-2020 FAFSA is based on 2017 income information.
- We strongly encourage families to use the IRS Data Retrieval tool to simplify their application process.

Students can now agree to their Credit Balance Authorization electronically. When you login to The Q, a pop up appears and you can either “agree” or “disagree” to allow QCC to apply your financial aid to all charges on your bill. You can agree even if you do not currently have financial aid, but may in the future as this agreement is active for the duration of your enrollment at QCC.
The Financial Aid Office has a Help Center to assist students with their FAFSA and other electronic documents! The Financial Aid Help Center has recently moved to a new location in Room 235HLC (Harrington Learning Center). Please sign in on the Financial Aid laptop at the Welcome Center (2nd floor of the HLC), and a staff member will be happy to assist you!
