Have you heard about free community college through MassEducate and MassReconnect? Effective Fall 2024, eligible MA residents can apply for financial aid and receive grant funding to cover their tuition and required fees. Many students will also qualify for an allowance for books and supplies! The first step is to submit your 2024-2025 FAFSA!
File your 2024-2025 FAFSA as soon as possible! There are major changes to the application, so be sure to read the instructions carefully.
- If you submitted a 2024-2025 FAFSA already, you can update or correct your FAFSA, if needed.
- Check your file on The Q. Respond to any requests for additional information.
- Award letters will be delayed as we update our systems for the federal changes. We have begun mailing 2024-2025 award offer letters. We are processing students in groups. If you have not received an award offer letter yet, do not worry! If your file is complete, your courses will be held for you while we determine your eligibility.
Free FAFSA appointments are available at the QCC Financial Aid Help Center and MassEdCO, if you need assistance.
- To make an in-person appointment with the QCC Financial Aid Help Center, sign in to EZQ.
