Graduation Clearance
The College awards diplomas and certificates three times per year in May, August and December. There is only one commencement ceremony per year which is held in May.
Students should submit an Intent to Graduate form once they have registered for the final courses to complete their degree or certificate requirements. Once your application has been received and your file is reviewed, your name will be added to the graduation list. If we have questions about your application you will be contacted via email by the Registrar’s Office regarding your graduation status. Be sure to check your student email account often.
Students who will satisfy their requirements by the end of the spring semester and students who have graduated in August or December of the previous year will be invited to participate in the May Commencement Ceremony. Information regarding the Commencement Ceremony will be sent to graduates via their student email account mid-April.

Students who have no more than two courses remaining to complete their degree or certificate and plan to register for those remaining requirements during the summer session may participate in the May Commencement Ceremony. Students will need to submit an Intent to Graduate form for August graduation once they have registered for their summer courses. The deadline to file an Intent to Graduate form for August to participate in the May Ceremony is Friday April 26th. Intent to Graduate forms received after this deadline will not be included in the Commencement Ceremony or Commencement Program book.
