Bookstore Allowances: If your financial aid file is complete but you have not yet received a financial aid award offer, you may submit the Fall 2025 Book Allowance Request form. You must meet initial eligibility requirements for financial to qualify. Awarded students should check their Course & Fee statement or QCC student email to determine if they have a Bookstore Allowance before submitting this form.
Have you heard about free community college through MassEducate and MassReconnect? Eligible MA residents can apply for financial aid and receive grant funding to cover their tuition and required fees. Many students will also qualify for an allowance for books and supplies! The first step is to submit your FAFSA! (Please note that the federal deadline to submit a new 2024-2025 FAFSA for Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or Summer 2025 has passed.) The 2025-2026 FAFSA is available! Complete this application for financial aid starting with the Fall 2025 semester. Once received, you will be notified if there is any additional information we need to determine your eligibility.
Was your eligibility for financial aid suspended due to the Satisfactory Academic Progress policy? The Financial Aid Office has implemented a new online SAP Appeal Form for students who had extenuating circumstances. You must log into The Q to access the form.
Fall 2025 refund checks will be available starting in late October and will be generated weekly thereafter. Funds will be disbursed to student accounts as they are received from the federal and state governments and eligibility is confirmed. Some funds may not disburse until later in the semester. Refund checks are created when the funds disbursed to the student's account exceed the tuition and fees charged.
