Get Started with Student Accessibility Services

Please Note: Once the SAS Application and supporting documentation has been received, it can take a minimum of 10 business days to schedule the Intake Interview in order to determine eligibility for an Accommodation Letter.

Plan to connect with Student Accessibility Services early!

  1. Complete – Please fill out the Application for Student Accessibility Services prior to your appointment with your Coordinator and review the SAS Student Handbook which will be sent to you via your student email.
  2. Send – Send your Disability Documentation via the safe and secure SAS Document Dropbox
  3. Meet – Meet with a coordinator (phone, Zoom, in-person) to discuss the nature of your disability and eligibility for accommodations
  4. Receive – Your coordinator will send your Accommodation Letter to you via your student email, and you may forward the Accommodation Letter on to any course instructor where you plan to use your accommodations for the semester

ADA Grievance Procedure

Student Accessibility Services is committed to ensuring that Quinsigamond Community College is accessible to students with disabilities.  If you have concerns about Student Accessibility Services' process or services, or believed that you have not received reasonable accommodation(s), we encourage you to first communicate directly with your SAS Coordinator. 
 
However, if you feel that you cannot discuss the concern with your SAS Coordinator, please contact the Director of Student Accessibility Services, Kristie Proctor to discuss your concerns further.

Academic Coaching 

What is Academic Coaching? 

It’s learning how to be a better student - pass your classes - manage your time - understand organization - focus better! You’ll meet with an Academic Coach weekly for 30 minutes to talk about whatever roadblocks you’re having in being successful with your classes.
