The Veteran Affairs Office mission is to provide support to assist student veterans and members of the Armed Forces in the adjustment to becoming successful in civilian and college life.  We are committed to promoting college spirit as well as establishing and maintaining fellowship amongst veterans and students on campus.  The Office will assist Veterans of the United States Armed Forces, Reservists, Guardsmen and Dependents of Veterans apply for and receive education benefits in compliance with the regulations of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). This page provides information about the GI Bill® and other valuable resources at Quinsigamond Community College. We hope you find the answers to most of your questions here. Please contact the College’s Veterans Affairs (VA) Certifying Official for further assistance.

The VA certifying official at QCC serves as the liaison between the College and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and is responsible for processing requests for Veterans benefits and verifying student enrollment to the VA. It is important that you let the Certifying Official know every semester that you would like to use your educational benefits. The QCC VA Pre-registration form can be found under Enrollment Process (on the right of this screen). Certification includes the following:

  • Dates of enrollment
  • Total number of registered credit hours
  • Change in enrollment status
  • Change of degree program
  • Transfer from another institution
  • Progress toward degree
  • Grades and academic status
